A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE A LEASE OF CITY -OWNED PROP
PERTY FOR THE PURPOSE OF GRAZING HORSES.
(ENLOE AND WARD)
WHEREAS, James H. Enloe and Ed Ward Jr. have offered to
lease certain City property located on the south side of Esperanza
Road, generally known as a portion of the "Shorb Wells: property;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that said property is not presently needed for a public purpose;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the best
interests of the City to lease said property for horse grazing pur-
poses until such time as it can be developed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the City lease said property to James H. Enloe
and Ed Ward, Jr. for a tenancy from month to month for a considera-
tion of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per month or Three Dollars
($3.00) per head per month, whichever is greater.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute on behalf
of the City that certain Lease between the City of Anaheim and James
H. Enloe and Ed Ward, Jr.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this
29th day of October 1974.
