RESOLUTION NO. 74R -526
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT TITLE
18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO
ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED AND THAT THE BOUND-
ARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES SHOULD BE CHANGED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City
of Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Pro-
ceedings No. 74-7,5-12 to consider an amendment to Title 18 of
the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to zoning, and to consider
a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter
mentioned and described, and at said hearing did receive evidence
and reports from persons interested therein and from its staff;
and
WIIEREAS, within a period of forty days following said
hearing, the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution
containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said hearing, and a recommendation that the proposed
amendment be adopted by the City Council and that a certain zone
or zones be changed as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission the City Council did fix the 29th day of
October 19,14_, and continued to the day of
19 as the time, and the City Council Chambers in the City
Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing
upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code, and the exclusion of said property, hereinafter described,
from the zone or zones in which it is now situated and the incor-
poration thereof in the zone or zones hereinafter set forth, and
did give notice thereof in the manner and form provided in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public hearing
and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and did thereupon
consider the summary of evidence presented at said public hearing
before the Planning Commission, its report of findings and
recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code should
be adopted and that the property hereinafter described should
be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now situated
and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
be, and the same is hereby, amended and that the following
described property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, to wit:

PROPOSED COLORADO- CRESCENT ANNEXATION
TO
CITY OF ANAHEIM
That parcel of land located in the County of Orange,
State of California, being a portion of the Southeast
quarter and the Northeast quarter of Section 12, Town-
ship 4 South, Range 11 West, S.B.B. M., described as
follows:
Beginning at a point in the existing City limit line of
the City of Anaheim, said point being in the southwest
corner of the Magnolia- Crescent Annexation certified by
the Secretary of State January 31, 1955, said point also
being in the northwest corner of the Magnolia- Crescent
Annexation No. 2 to the City of Anaheim, certified by
the Secretary of State May 11, 1956; thence S 0° 13' 51"
E, 345 feet leaving said Magnolia- Crescent Annexation
boundary and following along a portion of the westerly
annexation boundary line of said Magnolia Crescent Annex-
ation No. 2 to an intersection with a portion of the
northerly annexation boundary line of the West Anaheim
Annexation No. 2 Annexation to the City of Anaheim cer-
tified by the Secretary of State May 11, 1956; thence
leaving said Magnolia- Crescent Annexation No. 2 boundary
line and following along a portion of the northerly an-
nexation boundary line of said West Anaheim Annexation
No. 2 S 89° 40' 43" W, 265 feet; N 0 13' 51" W, 345
feet to an intersection with the southerly annexation
boundary line of the City of Buena Park as established
by the Dale Street No. 1 Annexation to the City of Buena
Park certified by the Secretary of State January 24,
1955; thence N 0 13' 51" W, 15 feet leaving said West
Anaheim Annexation No. 2 boundary line and following
along a portion of the last mentioned Buena Park City
boundary line to an intersection with a line parallel
with and 30 feet north of the centerline of Crescent
Avenue, said point of intersection being a point in the
southerly annexation boundary line of the Greenleaf No.
1 Annexation to the City of Buena Park certified by the
Secretary of State July 27, 1964; thence N 89° 40 43"
E, 265 feet leaving said Dale Street No. 1 Annexation
boundary and following along the southerly annexation
boundary line of said Greenleaf No. 1 Annexation to
said City of Buena Park, also being said parallel line
to an intersection with the westerly line of the afore-
mentioned Magnolia- Crescent Annexation to the City of
Anaheim; thence S 0 13' 51" E, 15 feet leaving last
mentioned Buena Park Annexation boundary line and fol-
lowing along a portion of the last mentioned Anaheim
Annexation boundary to the point of beginning.
be excluded from County of Orange R1, SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE,
DISTRICT and incorporated in City of Anaheim R -A, AGRICULTURAL,
ZONE subject to the following condition:
That these reclassification proceedings are granted subject
to the completion of annexation of subject property to the City
of Anaheim.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
he is hereby, authorized and directed to prepare and submit to
the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal to accomplish the objects herein found and determined
to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 29th day of October, 1974.
