1975-320A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND FIXING A DATE FOR HEARING THEREON. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has elected to proceed under the provisions of the Street Vacation Act of 1941 and the Public Service Easement Vacation Law, Title 5, Division 1, Article 5 of the Government Code, in connection with a request for vacation and abandonment of those certain portions of dedicated road and public utility easements lying within. Tract No. 8660 located north of La Palma Avenue, west of Magnolia Avenue, in the City of Anaheim, sub lect to reservation of sanitary sewer easement to accommodate existing facilities within Knollwood Circle, and more fully hereinafter described. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that it hereby declares its intention to vacate, abandon and close to public use those certain portions of dedicated road and public utility easements lying within Tract No. 8660 located north of La Palma Avenue, west of Magnolia Avenue, in the City of Anaheim, for road and public utility purposes, as they may related to the following described property: Those portions of dedicated roadways, commonly known as Woodland Drive and Knollwood Circle, and water line ease- ments all lying within Tract No. 8660, as shown on a map recorded in Book 349, pages 24 through 30, Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, located in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be abandoned, described as follows: Woodland Drive: Northwesterly side Parcels 1, 2, 17, 18, 19 and 22: Those portions of Woodland Drive, as shown on a map of Tract No. 8660, recorded in Book 349, pages 24 to 30, in- clusive, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, lying westerly and northwesterly of a line concentric with and distant 32 feet westerly and northwesterly, measured radially, from the centerline of said Woodland Drive, as shown on said map of Tract No. 8660. Woodland Drive: Southeasterly side Parcels 20 and 21: RESOLUTION NO. 75R -320 Those portions of Woodland Drive, as shown on a map of Tract No. 8660, recorded in Book 349, pages 24 to 30, in- clusive, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, lying southerly and easterly of a line concentric with and distant 32 feet southerly and easterly, measured radially, from the centerline of said Woodland Drive, as shown on said map of Tract No. 8660. Knollwood Circle: Southwesterly side Parcels 3 to 10, inclusive: 74 -16A Those portions of Knollwood Circle, as shown on a map of Tract No. 8660, recorded in Book 349, pages 24 to 30, inclusive, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, lying westerly and southwesterly of a line con- centric with and distant 32 feet westerly and southwest- erly, measured radially, from the centerline of Knollwood Circle, as shown on said map of Tract No. 8660. Reserving from said Parcels 3 to 10, inclusive, a 10 -foot wide sanitary sewer easement lying easterly and northeast- erly of a line concentric with and distant 42 feet west- erly and southwesterly, measured radially, from the center- line of said Knollwood Circle. Knollwood Circle: Northeasterly side Iarcels 11 to 16, inclusive: Those portions of Knollwood Circle, as shown on a map of Tract No. 8660, recorded in Book 349, pages 24 to 30 in- clusive, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, lying easterly and northeasterly of a line concentric with and distant 32 feet easterly and northeasterly measured radially, from the centerline of said Knollwood Circle, as shown on said map of Tract No. 8660. Reserving from said larcels 11 and 12 a 10 -foot wide sani- tary sewer easement lying westerly and southwesterly of a line concentric with and distant 42 feet easterly and north- easterly, measured radially, from the centerline of said Knollwood Circle. The following described water line easements all lyin7 within said Tract No. 8660 to be abandoned. I arc: l 23: x 10 -foot wide strip; of land over and across those portions of Lots 6, 7, 3, and 9, Tract No. 3660, as per map recorded in Book 349, pages 24 to 30, inclusive, Miscellaneous raps, records of said Oranc=e County, lying 5 feet on each side of the following described centerline: Be- innin8 at a not nt on the northeasterly line of Knollwood Circle, distant thereon S 62 15' 30` 13.46 feet from the northwesterly terminus of that certain course in said northeasterly line of said Knollwood Circle, shown on said map of Tract No. 3660, as having, a hearinn and distance of N 42 15' 30' rl 45.76 feet; hence N 89 45' 24 290.70 feet; thence S 45 14' 36' 26.3.01 feet; thence N 44 65' 24' 248.00 feed; thence 45 14' 36 -F., 212.15 feet to a point on the northwesterly line of ',00dland Drive, as shown on said ma; of Tract No. 8660. Parcel 24: A 10-foot wide strip of land over and across that portion of Lot 9, Tract No. 8660, as per map recorded in Book 349, pages 24 to 30, inclusive, Miscellaneous Naps, records of said Orange County, the centerline of which is described as follows: Beainninc at a point on the centerline of a 10 -foot wide water line easement shown on said map of Tract 8660, -2- distant thereon S 45 14' 36' E, 34 feet from the north- westerly terminus of that certain course on said center- line shown on said map as having a bearing and distance of N 45 14' 36' W, 263.01 feet; thence S 44 45' 24'` W, 17 feet. Excepting from said 10 -foot wide strip of land the north- easterly 5 feet thereof. Parcel 25: A 10 -foot wide strip of land over and across that portion of Lot 6, Tract 8660, as per map recorded in Book 349, pages 24 to 30, inclusive, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, lying 5.00 feet on each side of the following described centerline: Beginning at a point on the centerline of the 10 -foot wide water line easement shown on said map of Tract 8660, dis- tant thereon N 44 45' 24' E, 23.50 feet from the south- westerly terminus of that certain course on said center- line shown on said map as having a bearing and distance of N 44 45' 24' 241.80 feet; thence S 45 14' 36" E, 28 feet. Excepting from said 10 -foot wide strip of land the north- westerly 5.00 feet thereof. Parcel 26: A 10 -foot wide strip of land over and across that portion of Lot 9, Tract 8660, as per map recorded in Book 349, pages 24 to 30, inclusive, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, lying 5 feet on each side of the fol- lowing centerline: Beginning at a point on the centerline of the 10 -foot wide water line easement shown on said map of Tract 8660, dis- tant thereon S 44 45' 24' W, 54.50 feet from the north- easterly terminus of that certain course on said centerline shown on said map, as having a bearing and distance of N 44 45' 24'` E, 241.80 feet; thence N 45 14' 36' W, 16 feet. Excepting from said 10 -foot wide strip of land the south- easterly 5 feet thereof. All of the above mentioned Parcel Nos. are shown on the map of said Tract 8660, attached hereto and made a part hereof, designated as Exhibit A. and it elects to proceed under the provisions of the Street Vacation Act of 1941 and the Public Service :easement Vacation Law, Title 5, Division 1, Article 5 of the Government Code, sub -ect to reservation of sanitary sewer easement to accommodate existing facilities within Knollwood Circle. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a time and place for hear ing, all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vaca- tion and abandonment has been fixed on the 22nd day of July 1975, at 2:30 o'clock =_'.M. in the Council Chamber in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim. 3 AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and shall cause the same to be published in a manner prescribed by law in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said City of Anaheim.
