A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF THAT PORTION OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
DESCRIBED HERIN.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
on the 13th day of May, 1975, declare by Resolution No. 75R -245
its intention to vacate and abandon an existing well site and
related easements located south of Katella Avenue, west of
Ninth Street, in the City of Anaheim, more fully hereinafter
described, and did set the 3rd day of June, 1975, at 2:30 o'clock
1.M. for a public hearing thereon; and
WHEREAS, on said 3rd day of June, 1975, at 2 :30 o'clock
.M. in the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of
Anaheim, said public hearing was held; and.
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from the evidence sub-
mitted at said public hearing that that portion of the real
property described herein and in said Resolution of Intention is
unnecessary for present or prospective public utility purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim:
1. That it finds that said public hearing was properly
held and that all notices were given and publica-
tions made as required by law.
2. That that portion of the real property toward
which a request for vacation and abandonment was
directed is not necessary for present or prospec-
tive public utility purposes and does hereby
order that said portion, as herein set forth, be
and it is hereby vacated, abandoned and closed to
public use.
3. That said portion of real property herein ordered
vacated, abandoned and closed to public use is
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, and is more particularly
described as follows, to wit:
That certain water well and related easements located
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Cali-
fornia, to be abandoned, as referred to in that certain
agreement recorded March 3, 1959, in Book 4612, pages
19 through 21, records of said Orange County, described
as follows:
PARCEL ONE: (Well Site)
The south 10 feet of the north 273 feet of the west 15
feet of the east 138 feet of the north half of the west
half of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter
of Section 28, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B.

PARCEL FIVE:
An easement for ingress, egress, and water lines over
that portion of the Northwest quarter of the Northeast
quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 28, Township
4 South, Range 10 West, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the north line of said Northwest
quarter of Section 28, distant thereon S 89 13' 30`° W,
788.73 feet from the northeast corner of said Northwest
quarter of Section 28; thence S 0 56' 24 E, 274.98 feet;
thence S 89 13' 30`` W, 15.00 feet; thence N 29 13' 40°`
E, 20.00 feet to a line parallel with and 5.00 feet east-
erly, measured at right angles from the line described
above as bearing S 0 56' 24'E; thence along said par-
allel line N 0 56' 24' W, 263.43 feet, more or less, to
said north line of the Northwest quarter of Section 28;
thence N 89 13' 30`' E, 5.00 feet to the point of begin-
ning.
PARCEL SEVEN:
An easement for ingress and egress purposes over, under
and across the south 12 feet of Lot 37 in Tract 3240, as
shown on a map recorded in Book 113, pages 1 through 3,
Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and
she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy
of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal of
the City of Anaheim, to be recorded in the Office of the County
Recorder of Orange County, California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 3rd day of June, 1975.

An easement for ingress and egress to the well and well
site for maintenance thereof, described as follows:
The east 10 feet of the north 273 feet and the south
10 feet of the north 273 feet of the west 113 feet of
the east 123 feet of the Northwest quarter of the North-
east quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 28,
Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M.
All as shown on the map attached hereto and made a part
hereof.
