1975-267WHEREAS, the Placentia Unified School District is
the owner of certain real property consisting of approxi-
mately 7.85 acres lying adjacent to Rio Vista School, for
which no use in the immediate future for classroom buildings
is contemplated; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires the use of said
property for a public park and playground; and
WHEREAS, the parties agree that said property is an
adequate and suitable location for a public park and playground
and that such use would be to the advantage and best interests
of the parties and of the general public; and
WHEREAS, a lease agreement has been submitted, the
terms and conditions whereof are satisfactory to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that that certain lease agreement between
the City of Anaheim and Placentia Unified School District for
the lease of property adjacent to Rio Vista School for park
purposes be, and the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized to execute said lease agreement for and
on behalf of the City.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
