A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN AGREEMENT GRANTING AN EXCLUSIVE RIGHT
TO NEGOTIATE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim owns certain real prop-
erty near Anaheim Stadium and expects to acquire certain other
real property near said stadium; and
WHEREAS, the City is interested in the development of
a railroad station and ancillary and related facilities and uses
on said property; and
WHEREAS, Multimodal Group, Inc., a California corpora-
tion, desires to undertake studies to determine whether it should
participate in the development of said real property near said
stadium; and
WHEREAS, an agreement granting to Multimodal Group,
Inc. the exclusive right to negotiate for a certain term with
the City of Anaheim for the right to participate in the develop-
ment of said real property near said stadium has been prepared;
and
WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of said Agreement
are acceptable to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of
Anaheim to enter into said Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that that certain Agree-
ment between Multimodal Group, Inc. and the City of Anaheim be,
and the same is hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the I and City Clerk of
the City of Anaheim are hereby authorized and directed to execute
this Agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 20th day of May 1975.
