RESOLUTION NO. 75R- 248
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN AMENDMENT TO A REVENUE SHARING AGREEMENT
WITH THE COUNTY OF ORANGE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT
OF TWILA REID PARK SITE, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AMENDMENT
TO AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the County of Orange has agreed to share
some of its general revenue sharing funds with the City; and
WHEREAS, the City has requested that one of those
revenue sharing projects be the development of twenty acres
of the twenty -five acre Twila Reid Park site; and
WHEREAS, the park site is owned by the City of
Anaheim, but the City lacks sufficient funds to fully develop
said park at this time; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared and the
terms and conditions thereof are satisfactory to the City of
Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, an amendment to agreement has been prepared,
the terms and conditions thereof are satisfactory to the City
of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of an
amendment to agreement of December 18, 1973, for the development
of the Twila Reid Park site be, and the same are hereby,
approved,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
amendment to agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 13th day of May 1975. n
