A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
HOUSING ELEMENT OF THE ANAHEIM GENERAL PLAN
DESIGNATED AS AMENDMENT NO. 313.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, pursuant to the
recommendations of the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim,
adopted a General Plan for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, on the 27th day of August, 1990, the City
Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public
hearing to consider a General Plan Amendment. The General Plan
Amendment does consider changing the Housing Element to
incorporate additional information and clarifications requested by
the California Department of Housing and Community Development; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the City Planning
Commission did duly adopt its Resolution No. PC90-208 containing a
report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at
said hearing, and recommending that said Amendment to the General
Plan designated as Amendment No. 513 be adopted by the City
Council changing the Housing Element to incorporate additional
information and clarifications requested by the California
Department of Housing and Community Development; and
WItEREAS, upon receipt of said Resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 2nd day of
October, 1990, as the time, and the City Council Chamber in the
Civic Center as the place for a public hearing on said proposed
Amendment No. 313 and did give notice thereof in the manner and as
provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such
public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an
opportunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports and
did consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission;
and
WtIEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
Amendment No. 513 changing the Housing Element to incorporate
additional information and clarifications requested by the
California Department of Housing and Community Development should
be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 513 to the General Plan
amending the Housing Element of the Anaheim General Plan to read
as set forth in that certain document entitled, "City of Anaheim
Housing Element 1989 (GPA No. 260) As Amended October 2, 1990 (GPA
GPA 313
No. 313)," which document is on file in the Planning Department of
the City of Anaheim, be and the same is hereby, adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department be,
and it is hereby, instructed to amend the General Plan to conform
to General Plan Amendment No. 313 as herein adopted and approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 2nd day of October, 1990.
