A. RESOLUTION OF TTIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE CONVEYANCE
OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF A QUITCLAIM
DEEP CONVEYING TITLE THERETO TO THE ORANGE
COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT.
(WALNUT CANYON STORM CHANNEL)
WHEREAS, certain real property was dedicated to the City
of Anaheim by the developers of adjacent tracts; and
WHEREAS, said real property was dedicated to the City so
that said land might be used for storm. channel and public road and
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, said real property has been developed with a
storm channel and public street and utilities; and
WHEREAS, the Orange County Flood Control District is will-
ing to accept responsibility for operation and maintenance of said
channel; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim
to convey said property to the Orange County Flood Control District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby agree to convey said real property
to the Orange County Flood Control District.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute a deed con-
veying said real property to the Orange County Flood Control District.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this
6th day of May 1975.
