A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF THAT PORTION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY
DESCRIBED HEREIN.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
did, on the 25th day of March, declare by Resolution No.
75R -147, its intention to vacate and abandon that portion of
dedicated roadway, commonly known as Coronado Street, lying
between Grove and Jefferson Streets, in the City of Anaheim,
more fully hereinafter described, indicating its intention
to reserve certain public utility and drainage easements
therefrom, and did set the 22nd day of April, 1975, at 1:30
o'clock P.M. for a public hearing thereon; and
WHEREAS, on said 22nd day of April, 1975, at 1 :30
o'clock P. M. in the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the
City of Anaheim, said public hearing was held; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from the evidence
submitted at said public hearing that that portion of the real
property described herein and in said Resolution of Intention
is unnecessary for present or prospective public utility
purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim:
1. That it finds that said public hearing was properly
held and that all notices were given and publica-
tions made as required by law.
2. That that portion of the real property toward which
a request for vacation and abandonment was directed
is not necessary for present or prospective public
utility purposes and does hereby order that said
portion, as herein set forth, be and it is hereby
vacated, abandoned and closed to public use.
3. That said portion of real property herein ordered
vacated, abandoned and closed to public use is
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, and is more particularly de-
scribed as follows, to wit:
A strip of land 30.00 feet in width lying south-
erly of and adjoining the southerly line of Lot 43
of Hazard's Subdivision as shown on a map filed in
Book 1, page 26, Record of Surveys, in the office
of the County Recorder of said Orange County.
Excepting therefrom any portion thereof recorded
January 13, 1975 in Book 11322, page 70, Official
Records.
Reserving therefrom an easement for public utility
and drainage purposes, over, along, under and across
together with all reasonable rights of ingress and
egress, all that portion lying from 26 feet, more
or less, west of the westerly right of way line of
Tustin Avenue, easterly to an intersection with a

line parallel with and 45 feet westerly of the
centerline of Jefferson Street.
4. That the City Council finds that the following ease-
ments should be reserved for public utility and
drainage purposes:
(a) That all of said roadway that lies within
Parcel One be abandoned, and that a public
utility and drainage easement together with
all reasonable rights of ingress and egress
over, under, across and along the easterly
26 feet, more or less, be reserved.
(b) That all of said roadway that lies within
Parcel Two be abandoned, and that a public
utility and drainage easement together with
all reasonable rights of ingress and egress
be reserved over, under, across and along
all of said Parcel Two.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be,
and she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified
copy of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the
seal of the City of Anaheim, to be recorded in the Office of
the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 22nd day of April, 1975.
