RESOLUTION NO. 75R -191
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN AGREEMENT EMPLOYING WAINWRIGHT RAMSEY
INC., AS FINANCIAL CONSULTANTS TO THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM IN CONNECTION WITH THE ISSUANCE OF
ELECTRIC REVENUE BONDS PERTAINING TO THE
ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN POWER SUPPLY RESOURCES
BY THE CITY OF ANAHEIM; AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT
ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to participate
in various power supply projects and expand the City -owned
electric system and to finance the cost of said program; and
WHEREAS, Wainwright Ramsey Inc., has specialized
knowledge, organization, expertise, and national following
among lenders necessary to provide the financial research,
counsel, advice and representation requisite to achievement
of optimum terms for such financing on behalf of City; and
WHEREAS, City desires to employ Wainwright Ramsey
Inc., to provide guidance and technical support in the
financial aspect concerning such electric revenue bond issue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of an
Agreement between the City of Anaheim and Wainwright Ramsey
Inc., pertaining to financial advice concerning the issuance
of electric revenue bonds in an Agreement dated April 15,
1975 be, and the same are hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized to execute said Agreement on behalf of
the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 15th day of April, 1975.
