A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING COMPREHENSIVE EMPLOYMENT
AND TRAINING ACT (C.E.T.A.) BUDGET MODIFICA-
TIONS AND AUTHORIZING DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS
FOR APPROVED ACTIVITIES.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim and the Orange County
Manpower Commission heretofore entered into an agreement to
establish and operate a Job Development and Recruitment Center
under the provisions of Title I of the Comprehensive Employment
and Training Act of 1973 (C.E.T.A.); and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the parties to provide
supportive services for the Job Development and Recruitment
Center clients, to increase contracting services with the State
Employment Development Department, to increase the administra-
tive services of the above project and to increase the number
of participants to be served; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and considered
a proposed C.E.T.A. Title I Budget Modification for the Job De-
velopment and Recruitment Center increasing the funding in the
amount of $51,112.00 from the City's unobligated Pilot Program
funds to increase the funding to $99,733.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be for
the benefit and in the best interests of the City to approve
the proposed C.E.T.A. Title I Budget Modification and to author-
ize the disbursement of funds for the approved activities as
allocated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that said C.E.T.A. Title I Budget Modifica-
tion this day submitted to the City Council providing for the
increase in funding for the Job Development and Recruitment Cen-
ter in the amount of $51,142.00 be, and the same is hereby,
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does
hereby authorize the disbursement of funds for approved activi-
ties as specified in said C.E.T.A. Title I Budget Modification.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 15th day of April, 1975.
