A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND FIXING A DATE FOR
HEARING THEREON.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
elected to proceed under the provisions of the Public Service
Easement Vacation Law, Title 5, Division 1, Article 5 of the
Government Code, in connection with a request for vacation and
abandonment of former Edison Company easements located at the
east side of Anaheim Boulevard, north of Katella Avenue, in the
City of Anaheim, and more fully hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that it hereby declares its intention
to vacate, abandon and close to public use former Edison Company
easements located at the east side of Anaheim Boulevard, north
of Katella Avenue, in the City of Anaheim, for public utility
purposes, as they may relate to the following described property:
Those certain public utility easements located in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
conveyed to the Southern California Edison Co. by deeds
recorded in Book 178, page 30; Book 1762, page 419;
Book 3334, page 59, and Book 2662, page 531, records of
said Orange County, to be abandoned, described as follows:
PARCEL A: The right to construct, use, occupy, maintain
and replace electric lines, consisting of poles, wires,
cross -arms and other necessary appliances, and to make
connections therewith and extensions thereof from time to
time, upon, over and across the following described tract
of land:
The Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section
23, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M.
PARCEL B: The southeasterly 5 feet of that portion of the
Southwest quarter of Section 23, Township 4 South, Range
10 West, S.B.B. M., conveyed to the Grantors therein by
deed recorded August 25, 1948 in Book 1692 of Official
Records, page 38, records of said Orange County, excepting
therefrom the southwesterly 200 feet thereof.
PARCEL C: The southeasterly 10 feet of the southwesterly
120 feet of that portion of the Southwest quarter of the
Southwest quarter of Section 23, Township 4 South, Range 10
West, S.B.B. M., which portion is described in the deed
to the Grantors herein recorded April 15, 1955 in Book 3032,
page 305, Official Records of Orange County.
PARCEL D: That certain parcel of land in the Southwest
quarter of Section 23, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
S.B.B. M., which was conveyed to the Grantors therein
by deed recorded October 14, 1953, in Book 2592 of Official
Records, page 625, records of said Orange County.
All poles shall be erected and maintained within 1 foot of
the following line:

Beginning at the most northerly corner of said property
of the Grantors; thence Southerly along the east line
thereof 194 feet; thence Southwesterly parallel with the
northwest line of said property 324.08 feet to a point
hereinafter referred to as Point "A said point "A'T
being the true point of beginning of this easement;
thence continuing Southwesterly on same parallel line a
distance of 68 feet.
Also, beginning at said Point 'A thence Southerly in a
straight line 100 feet.
and it elects to proceed under the provisions of the Public
Service Easement Vacation Law, Title 5, Division 1, Article 5,
of the Government Code.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a time and place for hear-
ing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed
vacation and abandonment has been fixed on the 6th day of
may 1975, at 2:30 o'clock P.M. in the Counci Chamber
in the City Hall in tae City of Anaheim.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and shall cause the
same to be published in a manner prescribed by law in the
Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed,
published and circulated in said City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 8th day of April, 1975.
