RESOLUTION NO. 75R- 179
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM SUPPORTING ASSEMBLY BILL 997
"CALIFORNIA LOCAL GOVERNMENT RECREATION
PROGRAM."
WHEREAS, Assembly Bill 997 providing for an on-
going state wide Local Government Recreation Program has
been introduced in the State Legislature; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of said Bill is to provide
state wide assistance to local governmental recreational
programs; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
wishes to express its support and approval of said AB 997.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim that it does hereby support
and approve of Assembly Bill 997, "California Local
Government Recreation Program."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is
hereby directed to send copies of this Resolution to the
Assembly Resources and Land Use Committee and the League
of California Cities.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me this 8th day of April, 1975.
