RESOLUTION NO. 75R -100
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING A REQUEST FOR
STREET NAME CHANGE.
(STATE COLLEGE BOULEVARD)
WHEREAS, a request for street name change on State
College Boulevard was received from Dr. L. Ronald Shields,
President of California State University at Fullerton; and
WHEREAS, after a public hearing upon due and proper
notice, the Planning Commission, pursuant to Resolution No.
PC75 -26, denied said request; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the
best interest of the City of Anaheim, and particularly those
persons having an occasion to use said street, that the name
change be denied.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the request for street name change
on State College Boulevard be, and the same is hereby, denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 25th day of February, 1975.
