A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF THAT PORTION OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
DESCRIBED HEREIN.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim,
did, on the 14th day of January, 1975, declare by Resolution
No. 75R -20 its intention to vacate and abandon a portion of
an existing public utility easement located at the east side
of Brookhurst Street, north of Crescent Avenue, in the City
of Anaheim, and more fully hereinafter described, and did set
the 4th day of February, 1975, at 2:30 o'clock P.M. for a pub-
lic hearing thereon; and
WHEREAS, on said 4th day of February, 1975, at 2:30
o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the
City of Anaheim, said public hearing was held; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from the evidence
submitted at said public hearing that that portion of real
property described herein and in said Resolution of Intention
is not necessary for present or prospective public utility
purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim:
1. That it finds that said public hearing was properly
held and that all notices were given and publications made as
required by law.
2. That that portion of the real property toward which a
request for vacation and abandonment was directed is not neces-
sary for present or prospective public utility purposes and does
hereby order that said portion, as herein set forth, be and it
is hereby vacated, abandoned and closed to public use.
3. That Tri Freeway Business Complex, Ltd., the owner
of the real property herein being vacated and abandoned and
closed to public use, shall submit to the City Attorney for his
a hold harmless agreement which would hold the City
harmless for any damages occasioned by the vacation of the real
property described herein; and that this resolution shall not
take effect until said hold harmless agreement is approved by
the City Attorney of the City of Anaheim.
4. That said portion of real property herein ordered va-
cated, abandoned and closed to public use is situated in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, and is more
particularly described as follows, to wit:
That portion of an existing public utility easement
located in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State
of California, lying within a portion of the Northwest
quarter of Section 8, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
S. B. B. M., described in the deed recorded in Book
8552, pages 71 and 72, Official Records of said Orange
County, to be abandoned.

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and
she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy
of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal of
the City of Anaheim, to be recorded in the Office of the County
Recorder of Orange County, California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 4th day of February, 1975.

The easterly 156 feet of the westerly 313.62 feet and
the easterly 46 feet of the westerly 382.62 feet of
the easement described in the above mentioned deed.
All measurements for the purpose of this description
are taken from the centerline of Brookhurst Street,
as shown on the map attached hereto and made a part
hereof.
Reserving therefrom over and along the area above
described to be abandoned, an easement for over-
head power lines, overhang and cross arm purposes.
For the purpose of this abandonment, the proposed
building will not exceed the height of 15 feet 6
inches as measured perpendicularly from the natural
level of the ground.
