A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF THAT PORTION OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
DESCRIBED HEREIN.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
on the 14th day of January, 1975, declare by Resolution No. 75R
its intention to vacate and abandon a portion of a former Anaheim
Union Water Company easement located north of La Palma Avenue,
west of Euclid Street, in the City of Anaheim, and more fully here-
inafter described, and did set the 4th day of February, 1975, at
2:30 o'clock P.M., for a public hearing thereon; and
WHEREAS, on said 4th day of February, 1975, at 2:30
o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City
of Anaheim, said public hearing was held; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from the evidence submit-
ted at said public hearing that that portion of real property des-
cribed herein and in said Resolution of Intention is unnecessary
for present or prospective public utility purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim:
1. That it finds that said public hearing was properly
held and that all notices were given and publications
made as required by law.
2. That that portion of the real property toward which a
request for vacation and abandonment was directed is
not necessary for present or prospective public utility
purposes and does hereby order that said portion, as
herein set forth, be, and it is hereby, vacated, aban-
doned and closed to public use.
3. That said portion of real property herein ordered vaca-
ted, abandoned and closed to public use is situated in
the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Califor-
nia, and is more particularly described as follows, to
wit:
That portion of a former Anaheim Union Water Company
right of way, 12 feet wide, as described in deed re-
corded in Book 86, page 293 of Deeds, records of said
Orange County, lying within the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to be abandoned, the
centerline of said 12 -foot strip is described as follows:
Commencing at the centerline intersection of Euclid
Street and La Palma Avenue, said intersection being the
southeast corner of the Southeast quarter of Section 5,
Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M.; thence S
89° 46' 20" W, 1,650.06 feet along the centerline of
said La Palma Avenue to an intersection with the south-
erly prolongation of the west line of Tract No. 483, as
per map recorded in Book 17, page 20, Miscellaneous Maps

ATTEST:
records of said Orange County; thence N 0° 15' 29" W,
186.42 feet to the true point of beginning of the
above mentioned centerline; thence S 66° 42' 20" W,
340.54 feet, more or less, to an intersection with a
line parallel with and 53.00 feet northerly of the
centerline of said La Palma Avenue, said point of in-
tersection being distant S 89 46' 20" W, 313.28 feet
from the westerly line of said Tract No. 483, said
point of intersection also being the point of terminus
of the centerline herein described.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and
she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy
of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal of
the City of Anaheim, to be recorded in the Office of the County
Recorder of Orange County, California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTIION is approved and signed by me
this 4th day of February, 1975.
