A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT EMPLOYING DAMES
MOORE TO PROVIDE GEOLOGICAL INSPECTION AND
CONSULTATION SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE
CONSTRUCTION OF THE WALNUT CANYON RESERVOIR
AND DAM.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is in need of
geological engineering inspection and consultation services
in connection with a study of damage to the Walnut Canyon
Reservoir and recommendations for repairs to be undertaken;
and
WHEREAS, Dames Moore is qualified to render such
geological engineering inspection and consultation services
and desires to be employed for such purpose; and
WHEREAS, Dames More has submitted a proposal
for said engineering services dated January 21, 1975, signed
by W. P. Tenney, a Partner in said firm; and
WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of said proposal
are generally acceptable to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of an
agreement employing Dames Moore to perform geological
engineering inspection and consultation services in connection
with a study of damage to the Walnut Canyon Reservoir and Dam
be, and the same are, hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute
said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 4th day of February 1975.
