A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AND
THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE PAYMENT
VOUCHERS OF LETTERS OF CREDIT ISSUED BY THE
UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN
DEVELOPMENT IN FAVOR OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM;
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO CERTIFY TO
THE SIGNATURES OF THE CITY MANAGER AND FINANCE
DIRECTOR.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has made application
for Community Development Block Grants; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said block grants a disbursement
system for letters of credit require that two persons be
designated as the individuals authorized to jointly execute
payment vouchers on the letters of credit; and
WHEREAS, the City Council feels that the City
Manager and the Finance Director are the authorized persons to
execute said documents; and
WHEREAS, said grant disbursement system for letters
of credit procedures requires the designation of a person to
certify to the signatures of those individuals authorized to
draw payment vouchers on the letters of credit; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does desire to designate
the City Clerk to certify said signatures.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the City Manager and the Finance
Director be, and they are hereby designated as the persons
authorized to draw vouchers on the letters of credit issued
by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Develop-
ment in favor of the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and
she is hereby designated as the person chosen and qualified
to certify to the signatures of the City Manager and the
Finance Director.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 21st day of January, 1975.
