A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO
THE GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATED AS GENERAL
PLAN AMENDMENT NO. 137, EXHIBIT "A".
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, pursuant to the recommen-
dations of the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim, adopted
a General Plan for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, on the 6th day of January, 1975, the City Plan-
ning Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public hearing
to consider a General Plan Amendment. The General Plan Amendment
does consider changing the land use designation to reflect medium
density residential on the extreme northerly property, low-medium
density to follow thereafter and low-density for the balance of
the land generally located southeast of Broadway and Loara Street
from a junior high school site in accordance with exhibits pre-
sented to the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the City Planning
Commission did duly adopt its Resolution No. PC75-3 containing a
report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at
such hearing, and a recommendation that said Amendment to the Gen-
eral Plan designated as Amendment No. 137 be adopted by the City
Council changing the land use element for the aforedescribed area
in accordance with Exhibit "A"; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the City Plan-
ning Commission, the City Council did fix the 2lst day of January,
1975, as the time, and the City Council Chamber in the City Hall
as the place for a public hearing on said proposed Amendment No.
137 and did give notice thereof in the manner prescribed by law;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
Amendment No. 137, Exhibit "A" changing the land use designation
in the area described aforesaid, should be approved in accordance
with said Exhibit "A" on file with the City Planning Commission as
recommended by the Planning Commission,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 137 to the General Plan
changing the land use designation to reflect medium density resi-
dential on the extreme northerly property, low-medium to follow
thereafter, and low-density for the balance of the land generally
located southeast of Broadway and Loara Street from a junior high
school site in accordance with Exhibit "A" on file with the City
Planning Commission be, and the same is hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that it is the City Council's
intent that the low-medium density portion of the property shall
be developed in accordance with the RS-5000 Zone standards.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Development Services
Department be, and it is hereby, instructed to amend the General
Plan map to conform to General Plan No. 137 Exhibit "A" herein
approved.
