1975-019RESOLUTION NO. 75R -19 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND FIXING A DATE FOR HEARING THEREON. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has elected to proceed under the provisions of the Public Service Easement Vacation Law, Title 5, Division 1, Article 5 of the Government Code, in connection with a request for vacation and abandonment of a former Anaheim Union Water Company easement located north of La Palma Avenue, west of Euclid Street, in the City of Anaheim, and more fully hereinafter described. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that it hereby declares its intention to vacate, abandon and close to public use a portion of a former Anaheim Union Water Company easement located north of La Palma Avenue, west of Euclid Street, in the City of Anaheim, for utility purposes, as it may relate to the following described property: That portion of a former Anaheim Union Water Company right of way, 12 feet wide, as described in deed recorded in Book 86, page 293 of Deeds, records of said Orange County, lying within the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be abandoned, the centerline of said 12 -foot strip is described as follows: Commencing at the centerline intersection of Euclid Street and La Palma Avenue, said intersection being the southeast corner of the Southeast quarter of Section 5, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M.; thence S 89 46' 20" W, 1,650.06 feet along the centerline of said La Palma Avenue to an intersection with the southerly prolongation of the west line of Tract No. 483, as per map recorded in Book 17, page 20, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County; thence N 0 15' 29" W, 186.42 feet to the true point of beginning of the above mentioned centerline; thence S 66 42' 20" W, 340.54 feet, more or less, to an intersection with a line parallel with and 53.00 feet northerly of the centerline of said La Palma Avenue, said point of intersection being distant S 89 46' 20" W, 313.28 feet from the westerly line of said Tract No. 483, said point of intersection also being the point of terminus of the centerline herein described. and it elects to proceed under the provisions of the Public Service Easement Vacation Law, Title 5, Division 1, Article 5, of the Government Code. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a time and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the pro- posed vacation and abandonment has been fixed on the 4th day of February 1975, at 2 :30 o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim. -1- 74 -8A ATTEST: AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and shall cause the same to be published in a manner prescribed by law in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circula- tion, printed, published and circulated in said City of Anaheim.
