1975-016WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim operates a Convention
Center Arena Complex which constitutes a convention and
recreation center for exhibitions, conventions, sporting
events and other public events for the benefit of the City
of Anaheim and its inhabitants; and
WHEREAS, a Theme Tower and other advertising
structures have been erected at said Convention Center in
order to provide information to the outside public and to
those in attendance at events in said Convention Center; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has entered into an
Agreement with In Sight Marketing, Inc., to perform
advertising as sales representative for sales of advertising
to be placed on said Convention Center advertising structures;
and
WHEREAS, said Agreement between the City of Anaheim
and In Sight Marketing, Inc., provides for the approval and
execution of individual Advertising Contracts to be made and
entered into with advertisers solicited by In Sight Marketing,
Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be for
the benefit and in the best interests of the City to delegate
authority to the Director of the Anaheim Stadium Convention
Center to approve, enter into and execute on behalf of the City
of Anaheim said individual Advertising Contracts solicited and
submitted by In Sight Marketing, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the Director of the Anaheim
Stadium Convention Center be, and he is hereby authorized to
enter into and execute said individual Advertising Contracts
submitted by In Sight Marketing, Inc., for and on behalf of the
City of Anaheim.
