RESOLUTION NO. 75R -15
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AND IN SIGHT MARKETING, INC., RELATING
TO THE APPOINTMENT OF IN SIGHT MARKETING, INC.,
AS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REPRESENTATIVE AND
SALES AGENT FOR THE SALE OF ADVERTISING FOR
ADVERTISING STRUCTURES AT THE ANAHEIM CONVENTION
CENTER.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim operates a Convention
Center Arena Complex which constitutes a convention and
recreation center for exhibitions, conventions, sporting
events and other public events for the benefit of the City
of Anaheim and its inhabitants; and
WHEREAS, a Theme Tower, and other advertising
structures have been erected at said Convention Center in
order to provide information to the outside public and to those
in attendance at events in said Convention Center; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to engage the
services of an advertising sales representative with the special
knowledge, experience and facilities for the sale of advertising
for said Convention Center Theme Tower and other advertising
structures; and
WHEREAS, In Sight Marketing, Inc., is qualified as a
representative for sales and service of advertising and has
submitted to the City a form of Agreement providing for the
furnishing of services as a sales representative and agent for
the sale of advertising for said Convention Center advertising
structures; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be for
the benefit and in the best interests of the City to approve the
proposed Agreement between the City of Anaheim and In Sight
Marketing, Inc., and that the same should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that said Agreement this day submitted to
the City Council to be made and entered into between the City of
Anaheim and In Sight Marketing, Inc., providing for the furnish-
ing of services as sales representative and agent for the sale
of advertising for the Anaheim Convention Center advertising
structures upon the terms and conditions and for the compensation
set forth in said Agreement, be, and the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are hereby authorized to execute said Agreement for and
on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and sig•ed by me
this 14th day of January 1975.
