A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TI CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY

MAGER TO EXECUTE AND FILL AN APPLICATION FOR
A COITEMUNITY DEVELOPMNT BLOCK GRANT PURSUANT
TO THE HOUSING AND COD241UNITY DEVELOPS VENT ACT
OF 1974.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
heretofore approved the Housing Assistance Plan as required by
the Housing and Urban Development Department which plan in-
cludes Tables I through IV, to -ether with those related maps
and attachments required to be filed in order to comply with
Housing and Urban Development Forms 7015.8 through 7015.11 and
otherHousino, and Urban Development requirements; and

14HEEREAS, Title I Activities and Programs have been
duly considered and adopted after appropriate public hearings
and public canvassing; and
117HEREAS, such solicitation of public opinion has re-
sulted in a statement of -needs, short term objectives, long to
obJectives and a one (1) year budget and program. being adopted;
and
WHEREAS, Environmental Impact Report No. 170 on the
application for a grant under Title I of the Housing and Com-
Z��
munity Development Act of 1974, which includes a one-year Com-
munity Development Program and a Housing Assistance Plan, has
been reviewed by the Southern California Association of Govern-
ments pursuant to A-95 procedures and State Clearinghouse, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim h -M
reviewed and considered the contents of said Environmental
Impact Report on the application for a grant under Title I o
the Housing and Corniunrity Development Act of 1974; and I
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby prives assurance that
the City of Anaheim will comply with all laws, regulations, and
executive orders as more particularly set forth in that certain
H. U. D. document entitled !"Assurances,"' a copy of which is at-
tached hereto, marked as Exhibit 'A."' and made a part hereof as
though fully set forth herein; and
NOTV,1. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Application for a grant under
Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1976,
which includes a one-year Community Development Program and a
Housing Assistance Plan together with 'Assurances° is hereby
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute and
file said Application for a Community Development Block
Grant pursuant i.® the Housing and Community Development Act
of 1974.
