1976-157RESOLUTION NO. 76R- 157 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR DEPUTY FIRE MARSHAL, FIRE BATTALION CHIEF AND POLICE LIEUTENANT JOB CLASSES AND AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 74R-521 AND 74R-522 AND RE- SCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 75R-593. WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Personnel Director have reviewed rates of compensation for Deputy Fire Marshal, Fire Battalion Chief and Police Lieutenant job classes and have determined a need for establishing new rates of compensation for these job classes, and WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the need exists to amend Resolution No. 74R-521 and No. 74R-522 and to rescind Resolution No. 75R-593, which established rates of compensation for Deputy Fire Marshal, Fire Battalion Chief and Police Lieutenant job classes, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that establishing new rates of compensation for Police Lieutenant, Fire Battalion Chief and Deputy Fire Marshal job classes is in the best interests of the City of Anaheim. At such time an employee shall have his salary adjusted and shall retain his salary step status in the newly authorized salary schedule and shall retain the same anniversary date for purposes of merit pay increases, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that except to the extent amended, Resolution No. 74R-521 and No. 74R-522 shall remain in full force and effect, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of this Resolution shall be April 2, 1976.
