A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM REQUESTING THE COUNTY OF ORANGE
TO CANCEL ARTERIAL HIGHWAY FINANCING PROGRAM
PROJECT NO. 779.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim pursuant to Resolution
No. 74R-583 requested the County of Orange to include the Anaheim
Boulevard - Baster Street Overcrossing in the Arterial Highway
Financing Program; and
WHEREAS, the County of orange did so include said over -
crossing in the Program and subsequently numbered it Project No.
779; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Transportation of the State
of California has curtailed construction within their department;
and
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Boulevard - Plaster Street Over -
crossing is one of the projects upon which the State has suspended
construction; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable not to unnecessarily tie up
Arterial Highway Financing Program and City of Anaheim funds on
a Project that may not be commenced for several years; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim does request the County of
Orange to cancel Arterial Highway Financing Program Project No.
779.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the City of Anaheim requests that the
Board of Supervisors of the County of orange cancel Arterial High-
way Financing Program Project No. 779 and reallocate all of said
funds of said project to other Arterial Highway Financing Program
projects.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 30th day of March, 1976.
