A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS OF AN AGREEMENT
WITH THE ATCHISON, TOPEKA AND SANTA FE RAILWAY
COMPANY IN CONNECTION WITH STREET WIDENING AND
INSTALLATION OF CROSSING PROTECTION DEVICES AT
CERRITOS AVENUE. (No. 2 - 169,7)
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has proposed to widen
and improve to a paved width of 64 feet that portion of
Cerritos Avenue on each side of and including the crossing
of The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company's Fourth
District Main Line Tracks (Crossing No. 2-.169.7); and
WHEREAS, an installation of PUC Std. No. 9A
crossing gates and flashing light signals are to be made
concurrently with the street widening; and
WHEREAS, an Agreement has been prepared providing
for said street widening, installation of protective devices,
and payment therefor; and
WHEREAS, the terms of said Agreement are Isatisfac-
tory to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, ,it is determined by the City Council that
it is in the best interests of the City of Anaheim to enter
into said Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of that
certain Agreement between the City and The Atchi:>on, Topeka
and Santa Fe Railway Company in connection with street
widening and improvements at Cerritos Avenue be, and they
are hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and. City Clerk
are hereby authorized to execute said Agreement on behalf of
the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and sigied by
