A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF A CONCESSION AGREEMENT WITH
SZABO FOOT? SERVICE, INC. OF CALIFORNIA,
RELATING TO THE ANAHEIM STADIUM.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim owns and operates
Anaheim Stadium; and
WHEREAS, major sporting events, concerts,
exhibitions, theatrical performances and meetings of all
description, as well as other activities are conducted in
said Anaheim Stadium; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to make
food, beverages, and other articles available to the patrons
of said Anaheim Stadium; and
WHEREAS, Szabo Food Service, Inc. of California
desires to sell food, beverages and other articles to the
patrons of Anaheim Stadium and to operate the concessions
at said Anaheim Stadium; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that Szabo Food
Service, Inc. of California is experienced and qualified as
a concessionaire, and that it would be to the advantage and
in the best interest of the City to hire said Szabo Food
Service, Inc. of California to operate the concessions at
the Anaheim Stadium, for the compensation and upon the
terms and conditions set forth in a form of agreement, this
day submitted to the City Council to be made and entered
into between the parties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim that the agreement this day
submitted to the City Council to be made and entered into
between the City.of Anaheim and Szabo Food Service, Inc. of
California, providing for the hiring of said Szabo Food
Service, Inc. of California to operate the concessions at
the Anaheim Stadium for the compensation and upon the terms
and conditions set forth in said agreement, be, and the
same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVER that the Mayor and the
City Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized to'execute
said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
