A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHET24 DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO KkCATE
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND FIXING A DATE FOR
HEARING Ti-11EREON.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
elected to proceed under the provisions of the Street Vacation
Act of 1971 and the Public Service Easement Vacation Law, Title
5, Division 1, Part 1, Chapter 2, Article 5 of the Government
Code (Sec. 50430 et seq.) in connection with a request to vacate
and abandon a portion of dedicated road and public utility ease-
ment located north of Santa Ana Canyon road, east of Imperial
Highway, west of Via Cortez Street, in the City of Anaheim, and
more particularly hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim. that it hereby declares its intention to
vacate, abandon and close to public use said portion of dedica-
ted road and Public utility easement located north of Santa Ana
Canyon Road, east of Imperial Highway, west of Via Cortez Street,
and more particularly described as follows, -to wit:
That portion of dedicated street cormf,,only known as a
portion of Via Cortez Street, located in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orana,-e, State of California, to be
abandoned, described as follows:
Beginning at a point distant N 3" 22' 25" W, 73.94
feet from the southwest corner of the land described. 4
in deed recorded April 17, 1974 in Book 11120, page
1857, Official Records of said orange County, said
point of beginning being a point in a line at the be-
ginning of a curve concave southwesterly and having a
radius of 64.00 feet, a radial line bearing N 860 371
35" E passes through the point of beginning of said
curve; thence Northerly, Northwesterly and Westerly
.long said curve through a central angle of 102® 271
00" an arc distance of 114.44 feet; thence N 15* 491
25" W, 72.00 feet to the beginning of a curve concave
southerly and having a radius of 136.00 feet, a radial
line bearing N 151 491 25" W passes through the point
of beginning of said curve; thence Easterly and South-
easterly along said curve through a central angle of
371 281 49" an arc distance of 68.97 feet to the beain-
ninq of a reverse curve concave northwesterly and hav-
ing a radius of 20.00 feet, a radial line bearing S
21' 391 24" W passes through the point of beginning
of said curve; thence Easterly and Northerly along
said, curve through a central angle of 1115* 011 4' an
arc distance of 40.15 feet; thence S 30 221 25" W,
29.68 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave
northwes- te rl-,,7 and having a radius of 22.00 feet;
thence Southerly, Southwesterly and Westerly along
said curve through a central angle of 90* 001 00"
an arc distance of 34.56 feet; thence S 3* 221 25" W,
89.86 feet to the point of beginning,

and it elects to proceed under the provisions oi-L" the Street Vaca-
tion Act of 1971 and the Public Service Easement Vacation Law,
Title 5, Division 1, Part 1, Cha-pter 2, Article 5 of the Govern-
ment Code (Sec. 50430 et seq.).
BE IT FLIRT HER R SOLVED that a time and dace for hearing
all Persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation and
abandonment has been fired on the 6th day of -April
1976, at 2:30 o'clock P.M. in the Charldber in the City
Hall in the City o1 Anaheim.
AND BE IT FURTHERRESOLVED that the City Clerk shall
certify to the Passage of this resolution and shall cause the
same to be published in a manner prescribed by law in the Ana-
heim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, pub-
lished and circulated in said City of Anaheim.
