f. OF THE CITY
OF MAHEIM APPROVING THE TER1,41S MM COINMITIONS
OF AN AGREETMIENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AND THE CITY OF GARDEN GROVE RELATING TO PAR-
TICIPATION IN THE JUVENILE PRE-TRIZIL DIVERSION
PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE 214-AYOR A&M THE CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AGRIEMMENT 014 BEHALF OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHERE -AS, the City of Garden Grove has Previously partic-
ipated in a Juvenile Pre -Trial Diversion Project and has invited
the City of Anaheim to participate in said project which is de-
signed to develop a regional resource for corrty-based service
to youths who show delinquent or pre -delinquent behavior patterns;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council d - esires to participate with
the City of Garden Grove in said Juvenile Pre -Trial Diversion
Project in order to develop said regional resource for-corrimunity-
based service to youths who show delinquent or pre -delinquent
behavior patterns; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be for
the benefit and in the best interests of the C-lit'y to approve the
proposed Agreement between the City of Anaheim and the City of
Garden Grove providing for the participation bf'the City of Ana-
heim in said Juvenile Pre -Trial Diversion Project, upon the terms
and conditions` set forth in said Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City- C6iincil of
the City of Anaheim that said Agreement this day submitted to the
City Council to be made and entered into between the City of
Anaheim and the City of—Garden Grove relating to parti.cipaltio-n
in the Juvenile Pre -Trial Diversion Project upon the terms and
conditions set forth in said Agreement be, and the same is hereby,
approved.
BE IT FURTHER R�w:-SGLVED that the Mayor and the Citgo Clerk
are authorized and directed to execute said Agreement on behalf
of the City of Anahe4
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
