A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIO17N

OF AN E14CROACHICNT PERMIT AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID ENCROACH-
MENT PERMIT WITH GENERAL AYMRICA14 LIFE INSUR-
ANCE COMPANY, A MISSOURI CORPORATION.

WHEREAS, General American Life Insurance Company, a
Missouri corporation, hereinafter referred to as Licensee, is the
owner of property in the City of Anaheim over which the City owns
a public utility easement; and
WHEREAS, Licensee wishes to encroach upon a portion of
said easement for the purpose of constructing an 18" R.C.P. drain
across City's right 'of way at the north side of Howell Avenue,
east of Page Court; and
WHEREAS, unless Licensee is allowed to encroach upon
the easement of the City, an extreme and undue hardship will be
caused to it; and
WHEREAS, the proposed encroachment for such installa-
tion across a portion of the easement of City will not interfere
with the present use of the easement by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that.th& terms and conditions of a license
agreement between the City of Anaheim and General American Life
Insurance Company, a Missouri corporation, be, and the same are
hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said license
agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 24th day of February, 1976.
