1976-082RESOLUTION NO. 76R- 82 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF .: ANAHEIM APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND THE STATE PERSONNEL BOARD, RELATING TO TECHNICAL PERSONNEL SERVICES INCIDENT TO WRITTEN EXAMINATION DEVELOPMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION THEREOF BY THE CITY PERSONNEL DIRECTOR. WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim requires the services of specialists with knowledge and expertise in the area of technical personnel services incident to the preparation and construction of written personnel examinations for use by the City of Anaheim, Personnel Department, and WHEREAS, the State Personnel Board's Cooperative Personnel Services Division is qualified and willing to provide said specialized services in the area of written examination development, and WHEREAS, a form of Contract has been submitted to the City Council by the State Personnel Board providing for said technical personnel services incident to written examination development, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it would be for the benefit and in the best interests of the City of Anaheim to approve the proposed Contract with the State Personnel Board, providing for said technical personnel services and that the same should be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the Contract this day submitted to the City Council to be made and entered into between the City of Anaheim and the State Personnel Board providing for technical personnel services incident to written examination development upon the terms and conditions set forth in said Contract be, and the same is hereby, approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Mr. Garry 0. McRae, the Personnel Director, be and he is hereby, authorized and directed to enter into and execute said Contract between the City of Anaheim and the State Personnel Board for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
