A RESOLUTION OF THE CITYCOUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN AGREEMENT TO PURCHASE AND LEASE CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY LOCATED GENERALLY WEST OF EUCLID
STREET AND NORTH OF LA PALMA AVENUE FROM THE
CORPORATION OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE CHURCH OF
JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS.
WHEREAS, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -
Day Saints owns certain real property located generally
north of La Palma Avenue and west of Euclid Street in the
City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -
Day Saints desires to sell such real property to the City
of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to acquire said real
property for park,recreational and other municipal
purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
has determined it would be in the best interests of the
City to acquire said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the terms
and conditions of the purchase and lease of certain real
property located generally west of Euclid Street and north
of La Palma Avenue from the Corporation of the President
of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -Day -Saints be, and
the same are hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the
City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute said agreement
for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and s'gned
by me this 17th day of Fetruary 1976
