A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE A LICENSE AND AUTHORIZING
PAYMENT THEREFOR. (Construction of an access
road east of Santa Fe's right-of-way from
Balsam Street, 6351 northerly, for the pur-
pose of sewer maintenance.)
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has requested permission
from The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company to con-
struct an access road east of said Company's right-of-way near
Balsam Street for the purpose of sewer maintenance; and
WHEREAS, The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway
Company has submitted to the City of Anaheim its "License" for
a 15 -foot access roadway, which has been reviewed and has been
found to be satisfactory and in the best interests of the City
of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the compensation sought for said License in
the amount of One Dollar ($1.00) per annum, said compensation
being subject to revision at three (3) year intervals, is fair
and reasonable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they
are herebyr authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the
City of Anaheim that certain License for an access roadway for
the purpose of sewer maintenance submitted by The Atchison,
Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director be,
and he is hereby, authorized and directed to draw a warrant in
favor of The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company in
the amount of Three Dollars ($3.00) and that the same be for-
warded to the Office of the City Attorney for transmittal to
The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company.
