A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DELEGATING TO THE CITY ENGINEER
THE AUTHORITY TO ACCEPT DEDICATION OF LAND
FOR STREET AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES IN,
"ARA EL MAPS.
WHEREAS, the Subdivision Ykp Act of 1974 permits a
City, by local ordinance, to require the filing of parcel maps
in divisions of land not constituting a subdivision; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has, by Ordinance No.
3474, required the filing of parcel maps in all divisions of
real property not constituting a subdivision; and
WHEREAS, the State Subdivision Hap Act of 1974 permits
a city, by local ordinance, to adopt procedures for the accept-
ance of offers to dedicate as a condition of approval of a parcel
map; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has, pursuant to Section
17.08.1 40 authorized by Resolution, the establishment of proce-
dures for the submission of maps; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does desire to permit the
City Engineer to accept offers of dedication of streets and pub-
lic utilities on arterial streets as shown on the Master Plan of
the City of Anaheim, Circulation Element, and on all local streets
which conform to City standards in parcel maps.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the - City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it does hereby delegate to the City
Engineer the authority to accept on behalf of the City of Anaheim
all offers of dedication of real property for street and public
utility purposes made pursuant to a parcel map when:
a. Such offer of dedication for an arterial highway
conforms with the Circulation Element of the
General Plan; or
b. Such offer of dedication for a local street con-
forms with City of Anaheim local street standards.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
