A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF INAHEIM. APPROVING AN AGREE-1,113NT 7v.-IITH THE
COUNTY OF ORANGE FOR FLOOD CONTROL CONSTRUC-
TION AT THE RAYMOND RETARDING BASIN AND AUTH-
ORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City is desirous of constructing a depressed
curb at the inlet to the Raymond Retarding Basin on the northwest
corner of East Street and La Palma Avenue as a temporary flood con-
trol measure; and
WHEREAS, the City intends to construct a storm drain on
the south side of La Palma Avenue for permanent flood control re-
lief in the area west of East Street; and
WHEREAS, the County of Orange has agreed to permit a
depressed curb at the inlet into the Raymond Retarding Basin until
such time as a storm drain can be constructed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the certain agreement between the City
and the County of orange, this date submitted, be, and the same is
hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager and City
Clerk are, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said agree-
ment for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
