A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM PERTAINING TO THE CLASSIFICATION
OF ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
desires to remove -the classification of Assistant City
Manager from the Classified Service and provide for such
classification to be a part of the exempt service of the
City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, it will be necessary to provide that
the classification of Assistant City.Manager, as a result
of inclusion in the Exempt Service, be made subject to
certain specific personnel rules of the City of Anaheim so
that the employment relationship for the classification of
Assistant City Manager is clearly set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Rules 3, 4.22, 15.7, 16.10,
17-9, 18.41 20,, 23.2,. 25-02, and 28.3 of the Personnel
Resolution of the City. of Anaheim are applicable to the
classification of Assistant City. Manager.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
