A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN AGREEMENT WITH ARTHUR YOUNG AND COMPANY
TO PERFORM MANAGEMENT CONSULTING SERVICES AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
T
EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF, THE CITY.
WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of the
City of Anaheim to provide for instituting a formal work
measurement program for Parks Maintenance activities within
the Department of Parks, Recreation and the Arts; and
WHEREAS, the services to be rendered in instituting
said program are of a type and complexity requiring services
of a professional.and technical character and are of a
temporary nature; and
WHEREAS, Arthur Young and Company has experience
and knowledge in conducting work measurement studies; and
WHEREAS, Arthur Young and Company has submitted a
proposal to perform services necessary to institute a formal
work measurement program for Parks Maintenance activities in
the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that
it is in the best interests of the City of Anaheim to hire
Arthur Young and Company to perform said services required to
institute a formal work measurement program for Parks
Maintenance activities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of an
agreement to hire Arthur Young and Company to perform consult-
ing services necessary to institute a formal work measurement
program for Parks Maintenance activities in the City of
Anaheim be, and the same are hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of
the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
