A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DENYING THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF A CERTAIN PORTION OF REAL PROPERTY,
CONMOnY KNOWN AS GAIN STREET.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
on the 30th day of September, 1975, by Resolution No. 75R-519,
in connection with a request for vacation and abandonment of
that portion of a public street, commonly known as Gain Street,
in the City of Anaheim, more fully described in said Resolution,
set the 18th day of November, 1975, at 2:30 o'clock P.M. for a
public hearing thereon.
WHEREAS, on said 18th day of November, 1975, at 2;30
o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City
of Anaheim, said public hearing was held and continued to the
2nd day of December, 1975; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from the evidence sub-
mitted at said public hearings that said portion of a public
street, commonly known as Gain Street, in the City of Anaheim,
as it may relate to the property described in said Resolution
No. 75R-519, is necessary for present street and public utility
purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim,
1. That it finds that said public hearings were
properly held and that all notices were given
and publications made as required by law.
2. That that portion of the real property toward
which a request for vacation and abandonment
was directed is necessary for present street
and public utility purposes.
3. That the request to abandon that portion of, a
public street, commonly known as Gain Street,
.noticed and advertised to be abandoned pursuant
to said Resolution No. 75R-519, be and the same
is hereby denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and,signe by me
this 2nd day of December, 1975. A
