RESOLUTION NO. 73R-""~_
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXE-
CUTION OF A JOINT;; AGREEI'4ENT BETWEEN THE
Orou~GE COUNTY TRANSIT DISTRICT AND THE CITY
OF AN&~EL~ RELATIVE TO PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION.
WHEREAS, the City is desirous of securing a safe,
dependable and economical means of Public Transportation system
for the safety and convenience of its citizens; and
WHEREAS, the Orange County Transit District is
authorized to contract with the City to establish and operate
such a transportation system and service; and
WHEREAS, the District has submitted a Joint Agreement,
the terms and conditions of which have been reviewed and approved
by the appropriate departments of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that said terms and
conditions of said agreement are satisfactory as amended by
the City staff and should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Agreement tendered by the Orange
County Transit District, as amended, to establish public trans-
portation service by said District in tile City of Anaheim accord-
ing to the terms and conditions set forth therein, be, and the
same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the,City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said agree-
ment for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
