A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM OF THE TERRITORY KNOWN AND DESIGNATED
FRONTERA NO..2 ANNEXATION
WHEREAS, said Local Agency Formation Commission author-
ized the City of Anaheim to annex said territory without notice
and hearing and without an election pursuant to the authority
vested in said Commission by Section 54797.1 of the Government
Code; and
WHEREAS, said territory proposed to be annexed to said
City of Anaheim is situated in the County of Orange, State of
California, and is contiguous to the City of Anaheim, and is
uninhabited territory. That said consent contained a description
of said territory in words and figures as hereinafter in this
resolution described; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
authorized to approve said annexation by resolution without
notice and hearing pursuant to the approval of said Local Agency
Formation Commission and Section 54797.1 of the Government Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim finds:
That the City of Anaheim submitted proof satisfactory
to the Local Agency Formation Commission that all of the owners
of land within the territory proposed to be annexed have given
their signed consent to such annexation. That said territory
proposed to be annexed to said City of Anaheim is situated in
the County of Orange, State of California, and is contiguous
to the City of Anaheim, and is uninhabited territory. That said
consent signed by all of the owners of land within the territory
proposed to be annexed contained a description of said territory
in words and figures as hereinafter in this resolution described.
That the City of Anaheim filed said request to annex
said territory, containing the specific boundaries of the terri-
tory to be annexed, with the Local Agency Formation Commission
and said Local Agency Formation Commission approved said annexa-
tion request of the City of Anaheim pursuant to Section 54797.1
of the Government Code.
That on the �_ day of "T, 19 the Local
Agency Formation Commission duly aaopted R"# so�ution No.75-1_31 in
which said Commission authorized the City of Anaheim to annex said
territory in accordance with Section 54797.1 of the Government
Code and further approved such annexation of said territory with-
out notice or hearing.
u_ That the Local Agency Formation Commission further
�l by resolution, authorized the City Council of the City of Anaheim
to annex said territory without notice or hearing by the City
Council, and without the requirement that an election be held by
the City on the question of said annexation.

Orange, State of California, consisting of those
portions of Lot 24 in Block K of the Kraemer Tract,
as per map recorded in Book 12, page 87 and 88,
Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County,
California, and of Block 25 of the Golden State
Tract, as per map recorded in Book 4,page 66, Mis-
cellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County,
described as follows:
Beginning at the most easterly corner,of the La
Palma -Pio Vista Annexation to the City of Anaheim,
California, identical with the southerly terminus
of a line described as '1N 15° 57' 10" W, 178.89
feet" in a deed to the State of California, record-
ed: June 4, 1963 in Book 6573, page 167, Official
Records; thence along said annexation line and
along said deed line the following courses and
distances: N 150 57' 10" W, 178.89 feet; thence
N 640 p9' 1511 W, 14.14 feet; thence S 740 32' 2811
W, 46.49 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve
concave northerly and having a radius of 471.99
feet; thence northwesterly along said curve through
a central angle of 400 18' 0111 an are length of
331.99 feet; thence N 650 09' 31" W tangent to
last mentioned curve 89.65 feet; thence N 70 19'
33" W, 70.89 feet to a point 25 feet northerly of,
as measured at right angles, to the centerline of
Frontera Street, as shown on the Riverside Freeway
State Division of Highways Monumentation Map No.
MF -1837-2 on file at the Office of the County
Surveyor of said Orange County as file No. 8874;
thence leaving the aforesaid annexation line and
deed line S 650 09' 311' E parallel with said
centerline of Frontera Street 120.76 feet to the
beginning of a tangent curve concave northerly and
having a radius of 375.00 feet, said curve being
concentric with said centerline of Frontera Street;
thence southeasterly easterly and northeasterly
along said curve through a central angle of 440 00'

with said centerline of Frontera Street 152.68 feet
to an intersection with the centerline of Glassell
Street; (formerly known as Bowling Avenue) thence

centerline of said Glassell Street to a point in a
line in a curve concave southeasterly and having a
radius of 12,325.70 feet a radial line bearing N 270
01 10t1 W passes through said point; thence southwest-
erly along said curve through a central angle of 00
38' 17" an are distance of 137.26 feet as described.

is hereby approved and said territory is hereby annexed to and
incorporated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that from and after the date of
the adoption of this resolution and the filing of a certified
copy thereof with the Secretary of State of the State of California,
the annexation of the territory herein described shall be deemed
to be and shall be complete and thenceforth such annexed territory
shall be, to all intents and purposes, a part of the City of
Anaheim, and from and after the effective date of such annexation,
all property therein shall be subject to taxation equally with
the property within the City of Anaheim and shall be taxed to pay
its proportionate share of the existing indebtedness and liability
of said City of Anaheim contracted prior to or existing at the
time of such annexation pursuant to the written consent of the
owners of property in said annexed territory filed with the Clerk
of the City of Anaheim prior to the adoption of this resolution.
