RESOLUTION NO. 75R- 590
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM PERTAINING TO PAYMENT OF
PREMIUM :PAY TO EXEMPT EMPLOYEES UNDER
CERTAIN CONDITIONS.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim determines the terms
and conditions of employment by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it
is in the best interests of the City of Anaheim to provide
for payment of premium pay under certain conditions to
exempt employees in job classes designated by an "X" before
schedule numbers in the salary resolutions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that employees in job exempt job
classes may be compensated for overtime work authorized by
the appropriate department head at the rate of one -and -one-
half times their regular hourly rate of pay provided: that
such employees have been assigned by the appropriate Depart-
ment Head to perform work normally performed by employees in
non-exempt job classes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of
this resolution shall be the 31st day of October, 1975.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
