A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT
FOR COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL OF RUBBISH AND
WASTE MATERIAL BY THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND
C. V. TAORMINA., DBA ANAHEIM DISPOSAL COMPANY,
(now known as ANAHEIM DISPOSAL, INC., a
California corporation), AND PROVIDING FOR AN
AUDIT TO SUBSTA14TIATE COST INCREASE BY
JANUARY 31, 1976.
WHEREAS., a contract was entered into by and between
the City of Anaheim and C. V. Taormina, doing business as
Anaheim Disposal Company, as of the -:27th day of June, 1956, and
said contract was extended and re -executed by several amendments
to and including the 1st day of July, 1971; and
WHEREAS, said agreement was subsequently amended on
March 12, 1974, extending the term thereof to July 30, 1979; and
WHEREAS, the parti#s desire to further amend said
agreement to Anaheim Disposal., Inc.,, for collection of rubbish
and waste material of Anaheim, California, of June 27, 1956, to
reflect the increased labor costs being incurred by Anaheim
Disposal., Inc.,.and to provide for an audit to substantiate
said increases.
WHEREAS, an amended agreement has this day been
submitted, the terms and conditions of which are satisfactory
to the City of Anaheim.
NOW., THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that that said Amendment to Agreement
between the City of Anaheim and Anaheim Disposal, Inc., a
California corporation, this day submitted be, and the same is
hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City. Clerk
are hereby authorized to execute said Amendment to Agreement
for and on behalf of the City of Anaehim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
