A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DENYING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT O.
1624.
WUEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City
Anaheim did receive a request for a Conditional Use Permit
Glenn K. Balliet, owner, to permit adult movies in a motel
the following described property:
The northerly 26300 feet of the Easterly 255.00
feet of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast
quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 21,
Township 4 South Range 10 west, in the Rancho San
Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a Map re-
corded in Book 51, Page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps,
in the office of the County Recorder of said
Orange County, California.
Excepting therefrom that portion thereof described
as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Section
21, said corner being the point of intersection of
the centerline of Ball Road with the centerline of
West Street as shown on that certain Map filed in
Book 10, Page 44 of Parcel Maps, in the office of
the County Recorder of said County; thence South
0* 151 58" East along said centerline of West
Street, a distance of 203.00 feet; thence South
890 304 42" West parallel with said centerline of
Ball Road a distance of 210.00 feet; thence North
0* 151 58" West parallel with said centerline of
West Street a distance of 203.00 feet to a point
in said centerline of Ball Road; thence North 89'
301 42" East along said centerline of Ball Road a
distance of 210.00 feet to the Point of Beginning.

AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a
public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said
request on the 24th day of Mayr 1976, notices of which said public
hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of
Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investi-
gation and studies made by itself and in its behalf and after due
consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing,
did adopt its Resolution No. PC76-106 denying Conditional Use Per-
mit No. 1624; and
WHEREAS, thereafterr, within twenty-two (22) days from
the date of the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal was
filed with the City Council protesting the action of the City Plan-
ning commission in denying said Conditional Use Permit and said

appeal was set for public hearing on the 6th day of July, 1976, at
t�qe City Hall, in the City of Anaheim, and notic-es or such Public
hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of
Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheimi,,Municipal Code;and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City.Council did duly hold: -and conduct such hearing
and did give all persons inter ' ested therein an opportunity to be
heard ani.. did. receive -evidence.and- reports; and
M-1EREAS,,_ the City 'C ouncil,does find,_ after careful con-
sideration of the recommendations of the City Planning CorLmlission
and all evidence and reports offered" at said hQaringr that. Condi-
tional Use Permit No. 1624 should be denied.
NOWf THEREFOREr BE IT RESOL"VED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Cor: ission
denying Conditional Use Permit No. 1624 be, and the sam.e is hereby,
sustained, -and that the request .of Glenn K. Balliet to permit adult
movies -in a motel is denied.
