1976-386RESOLUTION NO. 76R- 386 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON- MENT OF THAT PORTION OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY DESCRIBED HEREIN. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did, on the 15th day of June, 1976, declare by Resolution No. 76R-335 its intention to vacate and abandon a dedicated street, commonly known as La Palma Circle, together with existing public utility easements located at the north side of La Palma Avenue, west of West Street, in the City of Anaheim, and more particularly here- inafter described, and did set the 6th day of July, 1976, at 2:30 o'clock P.M. for a public hearing thereon; and WHEREAS, on said 6th day of July, 1976, at 2:30 o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber in the City mall of the City of Anaheim, said public hearing was held; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds from the evidence submitted at said public hearing that that portion of the real property described herein and in said Resolution of Intention is unnecessary for present or prospective public utility pur- poses. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim: 1. That it finds that said public hearing was properly held and that all notices were given and publica- tions made as required by law. 2. That that portion of the real property toward which a request for vacation and abandonment was directed is not necessary for present or prospective public utility purposes and does hereby order that said portion, as herein set forth, be and it is hereby vacated, abandoned and closed to public use. 3. That said portion of real property herein ordered vacated, abandoned and closed to public use is described as follows, to wit: Those certain public street and public utility ease- ments located in the City of Anaheim., County of Orange, State of California, to be abandoned, de- scribed as follows: Parcel One: La Palma Circle as shown on the map of Tract N37.1691, as per map recorded in Book 52, pages 18 and 19, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County. Excepting therefrom any portion thereof lying south- erly of a line parallel with and 53.00 feet northerly of the centerline of La Palma Avenue. Parcel Two: Those portions of the existing public uti ity easements located in Tract No. 1691, as per map recorded in Book 52, pages 18 and 19, Miscel- laneous Maps, records of said Orange County, to be abandoned, described as follows: 75-12A The Southeasterly 5 feet of Lots 34 through 37. Except the Easterly 25 feet of Lot 37. The North- westerly 5 feet of Lots 50 and 51. Except the Westerly IO feet of Lot 51. All as shown on the map of said Tract No. 1691. AND BE IT FUROR RESOLVED that -the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution and Order; attested by her under the seal of the City of Anaheim, to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
