1976-378RESOLUTION NO. 76R- 378 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM P-MIENDING RATES, RULES MiD REGULA- TIONS FOR THE SALE AND DISTRIBUTION OF WATER AS ADOPTED By RESOLUTION NO. 72R-600 AND AMENDED BY RESOLUTION NOS. 73R -255t 73R-387, 73P.--532, 74R-433, 75R-315, 75R-469 AND 75R-479. WHEREAS, a water coramodity adjustment clause contained in Resolution No. 72R-600 provides automatic adjustment for the price of water purchased or pumped including the cost of electri- cal energy to pump water, by the City of Anaheim and distributed to its water customers; and WHEREAS, it is necessary to take water system losses into account when computing the water commodity adjustment amount in order to recover fully increases in the costs covered by the water commodity adjustment clause. AMOUNT OF ADJUSTMENT (Continued) Adjustment for irrigation service would be computed in a similar manner using the base year average cost per acre foot of $18.85. 2. Starting July 1, 1976, the commodity adjustment amount calculated as illustrated in D.l above shall be adjusted to include system losses as shown below. The System Loss Factor used to calculate the commodity adjustment shall be based on ,rater system losses for the most recent com- plete fiscal year. The per cent of water to be pumped and purchased established as of July 1 each fiscal -year shall apply in any commodity adjustment computation throughout that fiscal year. 4. The amount of the commodityadjustment and the data elements required to compute the commodity adjustment shall be shown in the COT-eIODITY ADJUSTMENT SUMMARY Section each time the commodity adjustment is changed beginning with the base year 1971-1972. E. APPLICATION OF COMMODITY ADJUSTMENT The commodity charge for all rate schedules shall be adjusted as necessary but not more frequently than ninety (90) days by the Utilities Director to reflect the cost per"A.F-. of water at that time compared to the cost of water for the base fiscal year 1971-1972.
