WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is seeking to initiate a
summer Youth Paint and Pick up Project funded with Coy: unity Devel-
opment Block Grant funds; and
WHEREAS, the basic purpose of the prograr. is to employ
low-income youth*in the Painting of homes and the cleaning up of
properties of low-income homeowner occupants, senior citizens, the
disabled and handicapped; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to employ a voca-
tional instructor to train and supervise these young people; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared, the terms and
conditions of which are satisfactory to the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLIZED that the terms and condi-
tions of that agreement with John Rush are hereby accepted and
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute said agree-
ment on,behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 22nd day of June r 1976.
