WHEREAS, the State of California has submitted to the
City, District Agreement No. 3271, providing for the installa-
tion of a traffic control signal system, roadwork, channeliza-
tion, and safety lighting at the intersection of Wagner Avenue
with State Highway Route 250 (State College Boulevard), and
interconnect to the existing traffic signal systems at Vermont
Avenue and State College Boulevard and at Ball Road and State
College Boulevard, upon the terms and conditions and for the
proportionate share of the costs therein set forth; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be for
the benefit and in the best interests of the City to enter into
said agreement with the State and that the same should be ap-
proved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that -said District Agreement No. 3271 sub-
mitted to the City by the State of California, Department of
Transportation, providing for the installation of a traffic con-
trol system, roadwork, channelization, and safety lighting at
the intersection of Wagner Avenue with State Highway Route 250
(State College Boulevard), and interconnect to the, existing traf-
fic signal systems at Vermont Avenue and State College Boulevard
and at Ball Road and State College Boulevard, upon the terms and
conditions and for the proportionate share of the costs therein
set forth be,, and the same is hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be,, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute
said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and 'signed .01by me
