A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND.CONDITIONS
OF AN AGREEMENT WITH ARTHUR YOUNG AND COMPANY
TO PERFORM CONSULTING SERVICES AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TOEXECUTE SAID
AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY.
WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of the
City of Anaheim to provide for an implementation review to
determine the extent to which the -departments of the City
of Anaheim have implemented recommendations previously
made by Arthur Young and Company and to determine the
extent to which said recommendations should be modified
and to develop additional suggestions in connection there-
with; and
WHEREAS, the services to be rendered in conduct-
ing said implementation review are of a type and complexity
requiring servicesof a professional and te-chnical character
and are of a temporary nature; and
WHEREAS, Arthur Young and Company has experience
and knowledge in conducting such 'implementation reviews.; and
WHEREAS, Arthur Young and Company has submitted a
proposal to perform necessary services in connection with
said implementation review and related services- and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines
that it is in the best interests of the City of Anaheim to
hire Arthur Young and Company to perform said services
required for said implementation review and related services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by. the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of an
agreement to hire Arthur Young and Company to perform
consulting services necessary for an implementation review
and related services be, and the same are hereby..,,approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk are hereby authorized taekeoute-said atreement-on
behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
