1976-314RESOLUTION NO. 76R-314 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR MANAGEMENT STAFF JOB CLASSIFICATIONS AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 76R-313 WHEREAS, rates of compensation for job classes represented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association were adjusted effective April 16, 1976, and WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the need exists to adjust rates of compensation for related management staff classes by repealing Resolution No. 76R- 313, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that establishing new rates of compensation for these job classes is in the best interests of the City of Anaheim. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim as follows: Section 1. Otherwise, the employee shall be compensated at his existing rate of pay until the appropriate Department Head 'affirms that the services of the employee have been found to be satisfactory. At such time an employee shall have his salary adjusted effective the lst day of the pay period in which the appropriate Department Head affirms that the services of the employee have been found to be satisfactory and shall retain his salary step status in the newly authorized salary schedule and shall retain the same anniversary date for purposes of merit pay increases. Section 3 The letter "U" preceding a schedule number indicates that employees temporarily assigned (upgraded) to that job class shall be paid premium pay as provided in Personnel Rule 6, Premium Pay. The letter "X" preceding a schedule number indicates that employees working in that job class are exempt from overtime provisions as provided in Personnel Rule 6.04, Premium Pay. Section 4 The regular hourly rate of pay and overtime compensation for employees working in job classes listed in Section 1 of .this resolution shall be computed as provided in Personnel Rule 5, Hours of Work and Pay Day, and Personnel Rule 6, Premium Pay, Section 5 The provisions of this resolution shall repeal Resolution No. 76R-313. Section 6 The effective date of this resolution shall be the 16th day of April, 1976. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this 8th day of June , 1976. WHEREAS, rates of compensation for job classes represented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association were adjusted effective April 16, 1976, and WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the need exists to adjust rates of compensation for related unrepresented job classes by repealing Resolution No. 76R- 311 , and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that establishing rates of compensation for these job classes is in the best interests of the City of Anaheim.
